Poetry Break #4

Introduction

Summertime means SnoCones. Share with children your favorite SnoCone flavor. Invite them to share their favorite flavors.

James Shell's Snowball Stand

Snowballs are fun

When the streets are covered

With white liquid

But they mean much more to me

When james puts raspberry and cherry

On them in july

Extension

Convince children that making SnoCones is even more fun than eating them.  Allow children to make their own SnoCones. If you do not want to deal with the inevitable mess, give them the packaged Flavor-Ice pops.
